Thomas ‘Drago’ Dzieran was born in Poland while under communist rule and later spent time in a communist gulag as a political prisoner for his activism against Communism. Drago immigrated to the United States in 1984, and became a US citizen in 1991. He arrived without knowing the language or customs, but was thankful for the Freedom and opportunities that awaited.
After becoming a US Citizen, when the First Persian War broke out, Drago felt it was his moral obligation to join the military and fight for his new Country. He enlisted in the Navy in 1991, Graduated from SEAL Training, BUD/S class 185, and was assigned to SEAL Team 2. Drago performed over 100 combat Direct Action missions while deployed to Iraq on multiple combat tours as the Naval Special Warfare Lead Breacher.
For his service in combat Drago was awarded Bronze Star with “V” for valor, Navy Commendation Medal with “V” for valor, in addition to other various awards and decorations.
Following Drago’s retirement after 20 years in the Navy, he began a successful career as a Software Engineer. He is using this skillset in the newest fight against Marxist/Communist ideologies to provide a voice for Freedom and protect Freedom of Speech for all Americans as lead developer for ConnectZing.
