Episode 722 - Desiree De Spong
During her two decades in holistic medicine and education in New Zealand, Australia and the United States, Desiree developed a keen interest in the relationship between holistic and traditional medical practices. A strong advocate for evidence-based therapy, she took on a research and development role and was awarded a fellowship with Flinders University in Adelaide, where she completed a trial alongside Professor Neil Pillar to study the impact of mild frequency vibration on breast cancer patients.
In 2018, Desiree also received a grant with ethics approval to study the effects of vibrational technology on arthritis. This passion for combining holistic therapy with scientific rigour was the driving force behind her development of the Flowpresso® system.
